INEOS Styrolution executives continue to be on the road across the globe to introduce the latest material developments to our customers and to foster cooperation to help selecting the best material for a given challenge.

In 2018, two of the most interesting events took place in Mannheim, Germany, and in Shanghai, China.

Highlights at the PIAE (“Plastics in Automotive Engineering”) event in Mannheim included the introduction of a new scratch resistant Luran® HH-120 for exterior automotive applications, the innovative composite StyLight® and solutions around Novodur® Ultra 4255 that is combining excellent technical performance with potential cost savings.

At the Chinaplas in Shanghai, INEOS Styrolution organised a technical seminar with Asian automotive tiers and OEMs. Various topics where presented to around 50 customers.

Our customers showed a high interest in new applications made out of INEOS Styrolution products and especially in our new Novodur 4255 for interior applications.

Many customers were also attracted by StyLight, which allows for new possibilities especially for high valued parts with carbon look.

INEOS colleagues from all regions where present in Shanghai (John Fialka (US), Tetsuo Kobayashi (Japan), Frank Krabbenborg (EMEA), Pierre Juan (StyLight Director), Christophe Ginss (global coordination) to present the latest new developments from INEOS Styrolution to the invited customers.

The discussions during Chinaplas resulted in the immediate start of about ten new projects with key customers.
